About

As cyclists we enjoy thoughtfully evolved bikes, which become integral parts of our lives. In touring, sportive and recreational riding we find peace of mind and enjoy the freedom and perspectives on your environment through every-day cycling mobility.

What we do

We ask reliability, performance and aesthetics from our bikes, achieved by a self-consisted selection of quality parts, technically sound assembly and maintenance.

We enjoy exchanging ideas about:

Full-custom builds from scratch
upgrade/rebuild trusty frame sets
custom wheels by PedalPony (commuting/gravel/touring/MTB)
transportation solutions (racks, bags …), tire choice, suspension or rigid, gearing, dropper/carbon seatpost
further technically associated “rabbit holes”

“Re-cycling”
While wearing parts life span increases with maintenance, they have to be replaced at some point and are (mostly) no re-cycle worthy.

On the other hand, there are several bike parts (e.g. well-made frame/fork, stems, cranks…) that can be re-used or even up-cycled without compromising performance or reliability. In most cases this will reduce financial cost and increase sustainability. Therefore, PedalPony encourages cyclist to maintain their stuff und re-cycle selected quality parts.

What we don’t

Race – no disrespect at this point, we´re just not into racing (atm). Hence, strongly performance oriented, hilariously expensive, super-light, competition-worthy and vulnerable equipment is not PedalPony´s thing …
